Our community Sparrow Club has addopted Tell as one of there new Sparrows, to provide the funds to purchase a comunication device that has been along time in the waiting. I am more excited about the club and its bennifits to other children than I am of the funds. Its a program where a sponser in the community puts out 2500 in funds to the program. A local school then addopts one of the many children on a list who want to be thier "Sparrow" the children who adopt that child then get to know everything about him or her. They in turn do services for thier school, community or even the "Sparrows" family and get creddited 10$ for every hour of service they do in the name of the "Sparrow". It teaches them that thier are people out thier who need help and they can help no mater how young or small they may be. It realy sets them out as a hero, and teaches them lesons of individuality. I realy can't explain it all. But I feel it is a wonderful thing. I know this program initially started in my county, and do know it has become wide spread. If you haven't heard of it or are interested check it out at www.sparrowclubs.org
