For anyone in the UK, or with contacts in the UK, some major campaigning is in order!
As some of you in the UK may know, the winner in the ballot for
private members bills in the UK parliament was the Autism Bill, from
Cheryl Gillan, the MP for Chesham and Amersham.

The Bill is available online at

The good news is that it has passed it's early stages, despite
government opposition.

I've created an online petition on the Prime Minister's website,
calling for the government to reverse it's opposition to the bill, and
ask that you support and sign this petition.
Unfortunately, this is restricted to UK citizens and residents (a condition imposed by the Prime Minister's website).

This Bill, should it become an Act, has the potential to change for
the better the lives of tens of thousands of autistic people in the
UK.
