I am very new to this. Our three year old little sweetie was just diagnosed with PDD about a week ago. I feel terrible to say that I am overwhelmed, scared, just feeling helpless. I am mad, sad and happy all at the same time. I haven't found anyone to talk to about what has just happened to our family. I am not knowing what to do next.

I am in the same vote that you are in, My son is 3 yrs old too and has just been diagnosed with PDD-NOS as well. Perhaps we can offer support to each other via email: dsledjeski@gmail.com. Now that I know what is going on with my son, I know what I am working with. I can get upset or I can spend that energy looking for ways to educate myself and reach out to others in a similar situation to me so I can improve the quality of my son's life. I would love to talk with you via email. Have a great day and remember that it is not anything you did to make him this way and that he is perfect just the way he is. Everything will be okay  . |
